autumn alphabet: i is for indoor activities

As the weather begins to turn colder and the winds begin to blow a little harder, I try not to complain because, the truth is, it's good for me. It forces me inside and, in a sense, helps my creativity to grow. When the days are sunny and the out-of-doors seems to be calling my name, it's often easy to set aside the art projects in pursuit of fun and oceanside adventures.

So, I'm thankful that Fall is here. It's gotten me down to business. As I sit here typing, I am surrounded by little piles of the various projects that have consumed the past few weeks...paper bird collages, bookmarks, jewelry. The recent influx in handmade creations has even encouraged me to pay a little attention to my long-ignored Etsy shop. A few new items have been added, and I hope to continue the trend over the next several weeks.

Also, I have so much here, that I thought I'd try my hand at a little contest of sorts. I see these on all sorts of blogs and always get excited at the prospect of winning something. The prize to be won? A sweet, little, handcrafted bird card! The way to win it?
