These journals were created out of plain, old, boring composition books. I was given a sample of this project and proceeded to go a little overboard making my own versions last night. But it was a fun craft. And most importantly, it was very different from the jewelry and bookmarks that I'd gotten bogged down with during the craft fair craze of last month. If you'd like to make one (or two or three) for yourself, pick up composition books, a few sheets of fun scrapbooking paper, glue sticks (try UHU), and a little ribbon. Trust me....you'll wonder where the time went once you get wrapped up in these.
