I love how a piece that starts as one thing can eventually merge into something completely new (and sometimes much better). These blobby circle shapes first appeared in one of my abstract explorations, but I never felt quite content with the compositions or how the whole thing was coming together. I put it aside and didn't return to it again until I began this wedding invitation quest. It was then that they took on a whole new life in the invitation design above.
