inspired by a tractor, of all things

Sometimes I just see random things that inspire me for somewhat unusual reasons. Perhaps it's my recent love of robots and gears and mechanical things that drew me to this old tractor. There's something about it that gives it a rather life-like appearance...as if it is going to spring to life at any moment. A farmyard robot of sorts, perhaps? In any case, I have plans to turn him into a character all my own. Dirk shall be his name. Seems fitting for a country robot.
